Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt Split Amid Custody Battle Over Baby Scotty

It seemed like parenthood had brought happiness, but for Pete Davidson, 32, and model Elsie Hewitt, 30, life took an unexpected turn. The couple, who welcomed their six-month-old daughter Scotty Rose in December, have parted ways and are now entangled in a custody dispute. Tensions are already mounting, with Hewitt claiming that Davidson has not been providing financial support.

The romance started quickly. Hewitt fell head over heels for the American comedian, and within a month of meeting, they moved in together. Pregnancy followed soon after, and their joy seemed complete when baby Scotty arrived. However, by the end of April, their relationship had unraveled. The former couple is now navigating the legal battle over custody, and it appears a straightforward resolution is far from certain. Hewitt recently turned to Instagram seeking help: “I currently need a mother’s assistant or caregiver — essentially my right hand. Serious and qualified applicants only.” She also elaborated in a TikTok video: “I need to take care of my child. I need to work and earn money. I’m alone, and it’s hard.”

A source close to Davidson painted a different picture, saying friends are puzzled by Hewitt’s post. “Pete’s priority right now is making sure he’s supporting both Elsie and Scotty,” the insider shared. The comedian reportedly takes pride in his role as a father: “This is what he’s always wanted and anticipated.”

Meanwhile, sources near Hewitt suggest she’s prepared to take legal action over unpaid expenses. Yet another source disputes this, insisting Davidson “is already covering more than required for Scotty” and wants Hewitt to feel fully supported. Their incompatibility reportedly predated the baby, and Davidson acknowledged the end of their relationship with regret. He hopes to focus on his own well-being but still wishes Elsie happiness and aims to spend as much time as possible with their daughter.
