Kelsey Parker, widow of *The Wanted*’s Tom Parker, is preparing to welcome a new child, offering a ray of hope after years of sorrow. Nearly four years after Tom tragically passed away at 33 from an inoperable brain tumor, and about a year since the heartbreaking stillbirth of their son Phoenix, 34-year-old Kelsey announced her pregnancy on Instagram. She lovingly referred to the baby as “a gift from heaven” and shared that it is a “rainbow baby,” symbolizing new life following previous loss.
In her heartfelt post, Kelsey reflected, “Next month marks a year since we lost our beautiful boy, Phoenix.” Despite the devastating loss, she revealed, it felt as if “Tom and Phoenix sent us a little gift from heaven.” Phoenix had been born at home on the 39th week of pregnancy, and though emergency services responded quickly, the baby was confirmed stillborn.
Kelsey and Tom married in 2018 and share two other children, aged five and six. Tom Parker, beloved for his role as the lead vocalist of The Wanted, tragically passed in 2022 after a battle with glioblastoma, a deadly brain tumor first diagnosed in 2020.
